Dell PowerEdge M910 Memory Spec

Important:
DIMMs A1-A8 are assigned to CPU 1, DIMMs B1-B8 are assigned to CPU 2, DIMMs C1-C8 are CPU 3, DIMMs D1-D8 are CPU 4. Each processor must have identical memory configurations.

Quad-Rank modules must be installed in white release leaver sockets when mixing with Single or Dual rank modules.

For memory mirroring and memory sparing all 32 memory sockets must be populated.

4GB DDR3-1333 Reg ECC modules come in two versions: 313S/4G using x4 and 3138/4G using x8 DRAM. The two parts may be installed in the same system but not within the same memory bank. Use like modules for dual and triple channel operation.

Xeon E7 series processors support high density quad-rank 32GB and 16GB dual-rank 16GB and low density quad-rank 16GB RDIMMs.

Xeon 7500 series processors support low density quad-rank 16GB RDIMMs and lower capacity parts at 1.5V.
