Xeon E7 series processors support high density quad-rank 32GB (KTH-PL310QLV/32G), dual-rank 16GB (KTH-PL313LV/16G) and low density quad-rank 16GB (KTH-PL313QLV/16G) RDIMMs.

MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN GROUPS OF FOUR (Memory Quads) in each Memory Cartridge.

Eight Memory Cartridges come standard in all pre-configured and CTO models. A maximum of 16 Memory Cartridges are supported with HP Memory Board 588141-B21 and CPU Assembly AM442A or AM450A.

Maximum performance is achieved by balancing DIMM quads by letter groupings across all Memory Cartridges. Such that the 1A, 8A pair is installed in all Memory Cartridges first, followed by 3B/6B pair, 2C/7C pair and 4D/5D pair
