Dell PowerEdge 2900 Memory Spec

Important:
Supports this system with kits of two Fully Buffered DIMMs at 533MHz and 667MHz. Mixing module speeds will cause them to default to the slower speed. Install in like pairs of two, four, eight, or twelve modules at a time. Memory pairs must be balanced between both memory branches.

Memory sparing and memory mirroring require eight modules (four kits of two).

The latest BIOS must be installed to support Quad Rank modules.
