Overview
To address rising data center operations costs and increasing workloads, businesses look for ways to increase server computing platform efficiency through consolidation and virtualization. A crucial innovation of the Cisco Unified Computing System, Cisco Extended Memory Technology provides more than twice as much memory (384 GB) as traditional two-socket servers, increasing performance and capacity for demanding virtualization and large-data-set workloads. Alternatively, this technology offers a more costeffective memory footprint for less-demanding workloads.
