We really like the Vertex 4. Our tests confirm that since their last generation of SSDs OCZ has made a considerable performance improvement to its latest series. The SandForce controller has been replaced by the dual core Everest 2 controller which results in more consistent performance, regardless of the file type.
Next to high performance it also shows a significant in reliability compared to the earlier SSDs with an extended warranty from three to five years.
The reliability and high performance of the Vertex 4 are well worth the investment.
