Another Norwegian review from Hardware.no came out today in which they proclaimed it to offer the very best experience for laptops. In other words: a brutal SSD in every type of use.
With high-quality memory and a brand new controller inside it we were very excited to test OCZs Vector. OCZ delivered some pretty hairy claims but our test results show that the Barefoot 3 controller is live up to them pretty well.
The write speed is significantly impressive, and in other tests is it able to perform well above what competitors have managed to whip up. This can be seen as a confirmation of OCZ's assertion that it is designed to deliver the best of both worlds: evenly spread performance over wide range of tasks, and to be a product with high performance capabilities - without focusing exclusively on one of these.
For laptops the Vector will offer the very best experience there is, and we are very anxious to see what other kind of goodies the Barefoot 3 controller might have in store for us.
