The Vector crushed the competition in almost all tests, regardless of the compressibility of the files.
For our durability we ran several tests between the Vector and the Plextor M5 and while the M5 shows a significant drop the Vectors background garbage collection gradually increases the performance over time.
Having tested the drive with over 27TB of data we can say that this drive should theoretically be able to last for 90 years. This is a definite confirmation of the thorough testing of this drive by OCZ.
With this performance and its 5 year warranty the Vector has no real competitor and as such receives our Editors Choice award.
